This colourful and talented midfielder has been regarded as one of the very best in his position in South America over the past decade or so. Valderrama made his debut for Colombia in October 1985 losing 3-0 to Paraguay, but established himself soon and won the captaincy at an early age. At clublevel, he started playing for Colombia’s first division side Union Magdalena in 1981. He also played for Millionarios and Deportivo Cali before he signed for French side Montpellier in 1988, a club he won a French Cup championship with two years later. Valderrama also played for Spanish team Valladolid before he returned home to his native Colombia to play for Atelitico Junior where he also won two league championships.*

Known as “El Pibe” (the kid), Carlos Valderrama is easy recognizable with his big curly blonde hair and all his jewelry. He was an accurate passer of the ball and a playmaker of finest caliber. He is also one of very few players to have captained his country in three World Cups. His biggest World Cup moment was when he dribbled past several players and delivered a pinpoint pass to teammate Rincon who scored the necessary equalizer three minutes into injurytime against eventual winners West Germany in 1990. That goal meant Colombia qualified to the second round.*

In 1994, Colombia were one of the hottest candidates to win the World Cup, much thanks to a 5-0 thrashing of Argentina in Buenos Aires in the qualifying rounds, and even though Valderrama was on top of his game, Colombia disappointed a lot and got knocked out already in the first round. Neither in France four years later, at the age of 37, could “El Pibe” and his teammate get past the first round. He joined Tampa Bay Mutiny in the MLS in 1996 where he has had success as one of the best players.*

IMo he´s the best short passer ever , he deserves SPA 99 , ATT is very underrated its enough if he has a very low AGG but ATT represents offensifve play so he should be around 10 points higher IMO .
DA can also be +2 or +3 points higher , not many players knew to protect the ball as he did , hes the definition of T-Dribbling and passing

His PES 2013 stats: http://pesdb.net/pes2013/player.php?id=67875

I think his speed and acc should also be lowered. He almost walked on the pitch.
And is tech really worth 95 ?

interesting the difference between FKA , BB 84-85 he knew very well how to keep his opponents on distance , LPA/LPS can be higher , TECH 94-95 ( as I suggested above ), RES could be in yellow as well .
SPECIAL ABILITIES are all good.

About FK, I stick to godoy's value as I have no clue about it, and curve is konami's.
I trust you about the other suggestions :) What values would you give him in LPA and LPS?

FKA should be max. at lower 80's maybe between 80-82 , 86 is too much in my opinion he wasnt really an expert for freekicks , but I would like to know godoy's opinion, LPS/LPA 80-82/89-91.
Do you have Paul Breitners Konami stats ? I think they suit perfectly for the Breitner in the early 80's just with some minor tweaks .
If you have please post them in S.A. and tell me what you think about Zidane ( Juve era ).

I must say that I really dislike to suggest changes in godoys posts because you can cleary see that its 100% his own work not just copying and many stats I find very interesting , I would just like to make some changes with the italian and german players it just isn't correct that Del Piero has better passing stats than Roberto Baggio and some of Gheorghe Hagi's stats looking strange to me .
It has been some time that I haven't seen Valderrama , but what really should be changed in my opinion is ATT , it's true he was 100% focused on assits but with ATT 73 he will be always coverd and he needs good positions in his offensive game to play his passes, so my suggestion is +10 in ATT.
He has already a low value for AGG so he will not play striker-like even if you would give him ATT 90 , so in my opinion a vaoue of 83-84 would be fair.

Well, you said it. I brought up this matter not to mess up with his work but to give an update to values that need an update like ATT for instance and also DEF that IMO should be lower. I'm definitely OK with 83/84 in ATT :)
